The CTA Pilot Program
The CTA pilot program is a small, clinician-led exploration designed to understand how structured, between-session support can enhance continuity and follow-through for couples in therapy. Its purpose is to validate a few critical assumptions before anything broader is attempted. At its core, the pilot is meant to demonstrate that couples therapists will meaningfully adopt CTA as a support tool, that couples will actually use it between sessions, and that this use improves continuity, communication, and follow-through outside the therapy hour. Just as importantly, the pilot aims to confirm that therapists experience CTA as something that supports and strengthens their work rather than competes with or threatens it. The results of the pilot program will be used to determine how the CTA app will be improved and marketed in the future.
The pilot is designed specifically for licensed couples therapists (or associates working under supervision) who are actively seeing couples and open to using technology as a clinical support tool. Ideal participants are therapists currently working with at least three to five couples, who are willing to provide thoughtful feedback and engage in a short-term, structured pilot. Participation will be limited to a maximum of 10–15 therapists to ensure close support, manageable oversight, and meaningful collaboration.
Therapists who participate in the pilot will receive free access to CTA for a period of 60 to 90 days. They will be guided through an exclusive onboarding experience and will have a direct line of communication with the CTA team for support throughout the pilot. Participants will also have influence on product direction based on their real-world experience, along with the option to transition to a discounted plan once the pilot concludes.
Therapists are invited to participate in a guided pilot focused on improving between-session continuity for couples. The first week is dedicated to onboarding, beginning with a 30–45 minute group onboarding call led by Keith Jordan. During this session, therapists are introduced to what CTA does, what it does not do, and are walked through the platform so expectations are clear from the start. Over weeks one through four, participating therapists invite one to three couples to use CTA in a light, structured way between sessions. Therapists observe how couples engage with the tool and note any changes in communication, follow-through, or session continuity. During this period, the CTA team sends brief weekly check-in emails, gathers questions and friction points, and tracks usage patterns to better understand real-world behavior.
The final week of the pilot is dedicated to feedback and reflection. Therapists are asked to complete a short feedback form and are given the option to participate in a 20-minute interview. The focus of this feedback is on what worked, what didn’t, and how CTA fit into their clinical workflow. These insights will directly inform next steps and future development.
